The Auspicious AZ-5108 is a 10A limit switch with an adjustable roller lever, built for duty where a mini switch would not last. The metal body and stainless steel internals take knocks that would crack a plastic housing, and the 10A rating lets it switch far more than a typical 5A control switch.

The lever is the practical advantage. It rotates through 90 degrees and the length can be set, so you position the roller to meet the moving part exactly where it arrives without relocating the switch body. On an installation where the cam position shifts slightly during commissioning, that adjustment saves re-drilling the mount.

Electrically it handles 10A at 125 or 300V AC resistive, with 1HP switching at 250V AC, which means it can drive a small motor directly rather than through a contactor. IP67 sealing is full dust protection plus resistance to temporary immersion, backed by oil tight and water resistant construction. That covers machine tools running coolant, outdoor plant and washdown areas. One normally open and one normally closed contact give a position signal and an interlock from the same unit. UL and CE approvals cover it for export machinery.

Common Applications

End of travel stops on machine tools and slides, carriage and gantry position detection, conveyor and material handling limits, gate and door position sensing, press and shear interlocks, outdoor plant and car park barriers, and any application needing a 10A switch where a 5A mini unit would be undersized.

Related 10A Limit Switch Options

Where the moving part arrives with more play, such as a lift car or crane trolley, the big wheel limit switch AZ-5108L uses an oversized roller to catch it. For a part pressing straight down from above, the ball limit switch AZ-5109 shares the same 10A rating and IP67 body with a top ball plunger.

For lighter indoor duty at a lower price, the 5A adjustable roller lever limit switch AZ-8108 and the 5A adjustable rod limit switch AZ-8107 cover IP65 applications, while the lever limit switch AZ-7120 is a compact side mount option. Where a higher current rating matters more than sealing, the 15A roller plunger limit switch AM-1308 carries more load. For contact from any direction, or where an overrun would snap a rigid lever, the spring limit switch AZ-8166 flexes and returns.

FAQ,s

What is a 10A limit switch used for?

It detects when a moving part reaches a set position and switches a control circuit. The 10A rating means it can carry heavier loads than a standard 5A control switch, including a small motor directly.

What does adjustable roller lever mean?

The lever arm holding the roller can be set for length and angle through 90 degrees, so you position the roller to meet the moving part without moving the switch body itself.

What is the difference between the AZ-5108 and the AZ-5108L?

Both are 10A IP67 switches. The AZ-5108L carries a much larger wheel for heavy equipment like lifts and cranes where the moving part may not arrive at exactly the same spot.

Can it switch a motor directly?

Yes, up to 1HP at 250V AC and half a horsepower at 125V AC. Anything larger should run through a contactor with this switch driving the coil.

What does IP67 mean on this switch?

Fully dust tight and able to withstand temporary immersion in water, so it suits outdoor installations, coolant exposure and washdown areas.

What does 1NO 1NC mean?

One normally open and one normally closed contact. When the roller is pushed, the NO closes and the NC opens, giving two signals from one device.
