The Auspicious AZ-5101 is a heavy duty push button limit switch with a top plunger actuator and a fully sealed IP67 metal body. The moving part presses straight down onto the plunger, the contacts change over, and the controller gets its position signal. Simple action, but the sealing is what decides where a switch like this can actually be used.

IP67 means two things. The first digit, 6, means the body is completely dust tight, so no powder, grinding dust or site debris reaches the contacts. The second digit, 7, means it withstands temporary immersion in water. Most limit switches stop at IP65, which handles spray but not standing water. On a washdown floor, an outdoor gantry or anywhere a hose gets pointed at the machine, that difference is the one that matters.

Backing the IP67 rating is dust proof and oil tight construction with stainless steel internal parts, so coolant and corrosion are not a problem either.
