The Moujen MJ-7101 is a heavy duty limit switch with a top plunger actuator, built for position detection in industrial plant where a mini switch would not survive. At 0.35kg it is several times the weight of a compact unit, and that weight is metal body and stainless steel internals rather than plastic housing. On presses, heavy slides and machinery that vibrates all shift, that build is what keeps the trip point stable.

The top plunger takes a straight push from above. A cam, dog or carriage comes down onto the plunger head, the contacts change over, and the plunger returns when the load lifts. It is the simplest and most repeatable actuator arrangement, which is why it suits sequencing work where the same position has to be detected thousands of times without drift.

Electrically it handles 10A at 125 or 300V AC and will switch a 1HP motor at 250V AC directly, so small drives can be controlled without a contactor in between.
