The Moujen ME-8166 is a 5 amp spring type limit switch from the ME series. Instead of a rigid lever or plunger, it uses a rod coil spring actuator that bends when something touches it from any direction, and that movement operates the contacts.

The spring is what makes it durable in rough positions. A lever can be bent or snapped by an overrun, while the spring simply flexes further and returns to shape. That suits conveyors, trolleys and material handling lines where a load may swing or drift off line.

Rated 5A at 250V AC and 0.4A at 125V DC resistive, it switches AC control circuits directly and feeds DC inputs into a PLC. IP65 sealing with oil tight, dust proof construction and stainless steel internals keeps it working in machine shops and wash areas. UL and CE approved.
